Hi, I am having problems getting a smooth clean print with just text. I am using a bravo II, with a powermac g5. Wondered if anyone could send me a file that was only text to check against my own files? Also any advice as to what to do to fix the issue would be great too. I have changed cartridges, installed the program again. Tried 3 different programs.

First, I hope all your equipment and software are correctly installed and set.
Secondly i would like you to answer few questions (and maybe add some other symptoms you noticed - if any?), so we'll be able to identify exact problem asap (because it's hard to tell what exactly is causing your problem from the info you provided, and we dont like to just guess).
So, do you have problems with text printing only, or also when printing graphics? How about changing DPI - does that help or not? Which media do you use? (i would recommend TuffCoat series media). Have you installed new original cartridges? When have you noticed this problem, and was the print quality ok before that?
FYI..I've never had any problems with print quality on any Primera product (unless when I ran out of ink, but that doesnt count here,right?). Ok, jokes aside..just answer the above questions please and i'll get back to you asap.

Assuming everything is hooked up properly - another trick is to clean each print cartridge with a little windex on a paper towel. Works great especially if you experiencing smuding.
